The problem with fix it sites.
Ok i got bored one day and stumbled in this fix it site called fixya. Im an automtive guy and dont mind helping someone out so i've been answering their questions. I just had one that the guy says "blown head gasket need to know how to disassemble replace, look for other potential issues, and put back together". First thing that runs thru my mind is if you dont know how to do this stuff maybe a head gasket is not the place to start.
I have seen a 100 posts that are "car wont start". Really? Fucking really your car wont start? Dont give me anything to work with like a year, make, model, enigne, maybe what was going on before it happened, or what its doing now. Just car wont start. The reason your car wont start is it figured out your a fucking moron and should be walking to work.
People are stupid.

Re: The problem with fix it sites.
Well, people don't know where to start or even to know to answer those questions to begin with. If someone is saying their car wont start then most likely they wont even know the answer to those questions without looking them up. But, it is just like everything else. It is tough for people to grasp if you know nothing about it. It would be like you sitting in on some brain surgeons meeting. Some people just don't have that knowledge or even know where to begin.
