Upgrading PC for BF3 need help
Well BF3 is coming and I'm more than likely going to be preowning the game for PC problem I'm facing is that I have an out of date PC. I know I just might have to look into buying a new rig but what price range could I get when getting a pc that runs this game at full strength.

Re: Upgrading PC for BF3 need help
Honestly, when I rebuilt my computer, I spent around 1000. This wasn't to play any game, it was just to future-proof it at a decent level. I've never been able to play anything full force that requires more than one video card anyway :P
Mobius, do you want maximum graphics performance with speed at a price that will break the bank? Or do you want playability that runs decently but doesn't sacrifice performance too much? The price difference can be dramatic.Last edited by Bane; 04-05-11 at 02:51 PM.

Re: Upgrading PC for BF3 need help
I know I'm necro the topic a bit but well as time comes closer I need to set a good price range .. My goal for this is well I want BF 3 to look like its playing straight from a console... I'm thinking about using my neighbors Computer as a bench mark..
Like one card I'm looking at is the Geforce 560... because it holds more power... on a single card. I'm also looking at the six core AMD phantom 2. with a tb hard drive. I'm also going to get a lcd screen. ... also I'm planning on getting 6 gb of ram.. and a 50 dollar case which is gaming certified
