48 to 72 hours at normal room temp. Install it to soon and it will shrink or grow depending on the temp from where it was stored to where its installed. When your clicking them together its a fine line between being to hard or not enough. If you hit them together to hard you will bow the edges up. You wont notice it from right on top of it but from across the room it will stand out like a sore thumb.
Best advice i can give you.
Take your time.
If your going to use a mallet make sure its white not black.
Every once in a while stand back and take a look at it.
DO NOT expect your walls to be straight because they never are.
Never let water/moisture sit on top of it.
Last if your getting irritated walk away from it because you'll just fuck something up and get more upset.

Should have told me you were looking and i would have given you that link. Its an vynil product that looks and feels like real wood but has a 10 year warrenty. The only way to fuck it up excluding installer error if to slide shit across it but even that can be fixed with it.
