Yeesh! I get teams like that a lot of the time. People who are obviously new to the game. Not meleeing Smoker victims when the Smoker's out of sight, even a few who try to bash Chargers... o.x
A difficulty separation would be good for VS. Luckily, though, Realism Versus does just that, in a way.
I won't lie, though. I'm guilty of RQing a few times in situations like yours. :x

You know what i hate. When I stick around in a game when my team sucks and Im doomed to lose. I end up staying till the end and finishing the game.
Then when I get back to the lobby they all talk shit and tell me i suck...
Me, if i see a good player try, lose and stick around till the end I will show them some luv in the lobby after. Not talk shit.
Its not hard to say. "Hey, good game. Thanks for playing till the end."!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!

Most of games i've played in team thats takes the lead early end up losing at the end.
Especially in Dead Center. The 1st map is a JOKE and is all luck of the insta kills and hanging off ledges.
Thing is the best way to beat a good team is to stay a few points behind them.
You then get the advantage of sniffing out useful items for the next map aswell as a heads up on witch/tank spawns. And if you think about it, the later maps are always worth way more points anyways.
I personally hate being in the lead by a few hundred points....Because i know the losing team gets the advantage.!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!

This.
Anytime I'm playing a game where we are just slaughtering the other team and it cycles though 15 players cause everybody quits, and I notice that one person who has hung in there from the start I give them props. Not a lot of people online can stand to get their asskicked, and still stay.
also agree with I'd rather be behind. Anytime we go into one of the later levels where my team is winning 1134-1083, I think 'well, shit'. However I LOVE being behind by a few points. I played a HR game where we lost the first round by 300 points. We ended up winning due to our advantage of going last. Each round we closed the gap just a little bit, and we overtook them in the finale.

Exactly.
I always try to stick around to the end even if I am having my ass handed to me. However, if my team decide it is my fault and start hurling abuse, I will leave but not before I have let the other team know why, when people just leave without a word is the worst, I mean for christ sake on PC you can type so you have no excuse lol.Kagato: "You got this Feesh?"
The Feesh: "I am so fucked..."
