embracing my inner noob
Last weekend I broke down and bought the orange box. So I have been playing a bit of TF2. Man I suck something awful but it is a lot of fun. It is a great feeling however, to jump back into 2142 and actually do well after a few rounds of stinking up the TF2 servers. Anyone else from the 2142 world playing over in toon town these days?

Re: embracing my inner noob
It's been a few weeks since I played TF2 but I do enjoy it. I usually ask for some help from the regs there as what to do next. Like push the cart and stuff. I play pyro some and I play medic the most because it just seems to fit since I run medic the best in 2142.
When I get a chance to play sometime, I will look you up first bbhos.

I've been embracing my inner pyromaniac over the last few days... there's something viscerally satisfying about lighting an entire room full of attackers on fire, and watching them all burn as they try to stay on the point. TF2 is crazy, crazy fun, no doubt about it.

Re: embracing my inner noob
I'm sort of the opposite. I usually play TF2 and just picked up BF2 lately.
I usually play medic on TF2 since I'm awful at fps, and medics don't have to worry about aiming quite as much. I'm not great, but I usually manage to be at least average on the server. I've been playing medic on BF2, and I die ridiculously often. I feel like such a nub! (Most of my kills are people who are too busy shooting something else and don't notice me unloading my weapon on them at point blank range ) TF2 is great fun. TF2 and all its cartoony goodness won me over to fps gaming If anything I think you may have an easier time adjusting to TF2 than I will adjusting to BF2. TF2 is like ACME cartoons in game form
