Mouse Sucks?
I have a Lachesis Razer. When I first got it there was an issue where it would occasionally jump across the screen, or you would be running along and suddenly your viewpoint would jump straight up. Sometimes you would find yourself spinning around 360 degrees. This was really irritating but it hasn't happened in a really long time. There was a patch, which didn't seem very effective at first and then as time went by the problem just seemed to go away. Now, my mouse gets really squirrely. It lags real bad, feels like you are running it through sand, or jumps around too fast and doesn't stop in the right places, etc.. I thought it was the game at first, but soon figured out that I could unplug it and plug it back in (it has a USB connection)to straighten it out for a while. Sometimes I have to do this several times a night, and it is geting old. It reminds me of when I use to have to reboot my computer all the time to refresh it or it would get real slow and squirrely. Maybe I just need a new mouse... this one was kind of expensive, so I hate to give it up just yet.

Re: Mouse Sucks?
i know how that feels
about 2 weeks ago my keyboard would freeze when i hit the caps lock button for the squad screen and i would have to pull the tower out and unplug then plug it back in
then i got smart and just disabled the caps lock key for windows and it still works in game
maybe you should check for another patch or try turning the windows sensitivity down

Re: Mouse Sucks?
I have tried re-installing the drivers, etc. which did not ultimately help. I can control the sensitivity from the mouse, and have tried messing with that but it only makes it worse. It acts like the mouse needs to be constantly refreshed or something to me. I am sure that something will show up eventually in the product update site. I have heard good things about the g-5, I just hate to get another expensive piece of junk. I thought maybe I needed to use a different USB outlet, it was plugged into the front of my computer, and I tried plugging it into my keyboard connection. That made it easier to unplug it and plug it back in quickly but didn't stop it from having issues.

Re: Mouse Sucks?
Actually I JUST got one of these mice a few weeks ago. It hasn't glitched on me at all but I have had problems adjusting to the speed. I've tuned it way way down but it's still so freakin' smooth that I can't effectively target anything. I wind up switching to a standard mouse whenever I need precision start and stops and then go back to the razor for broader motion.

Re: Mouse Sucks?
Krue,
I don't have a Razer but I do have a G5. I like it but yes it was expensive. Now on to your mouse problem. Have you tried to run the mouse without the drivers installed? Does your mouse come with software driven menus or capabilities?
I had a G7 that was having similar problems as you and I just ran it with the drivers but without the logitech software installed. That cleared up my problems instantly.
The strange thing was that I could still use all the buttons on the mouse without the software program running.
