im ok, my gilfriend just got power so im useing her pc, im still out. the parents house is good trees down. My aprtments carport is gone. trees down all over. And i had to go to galveston today. it worse than it looks on tv. its not pretty. I had an old lady break down in my arms. its nuts. ill try to keep in touch. hope to be on soon.

Thanks guys. ive got 4 coworkers that lost everything 2 lived on the west end of the island. its crazy, you dont realize how bad it is till it really happens.

Even my Dad, who never leaves the Island, left for this one. Those in my family that have homes there are still not sure about how extensive the damage is, but think they have at least 1-3 foot of water standing in their homes, even in the higher areas. I use to hear people joke that we needed a good hurricane to wipe out some of the blighted neighborhoods in Galveston, but the reality isn't that simple, is it. GL Spike.
