    To be more specific, the Texan identity created borders to the community when it's actually composed of many users from other states. Generalizing the name and removing the State allows it to grow with an open identity. I supported it.

    Yes, this was the reason why i supported it.

    Sure, it got rid of some of our identity, but it did help. I've seen and heard it before with my own eyes and ears. People were reluctant to join the community because they thought we were all texans, because of the name. So by making it less local and more national, it helped.
