I just don't get the big idea of playing a war game set 64 years ago, then playing a war game based on a current war. People still die.

It's retarded. War games are a mock to the heroes who fought on the RIGHT side (which involved not being a former Jew saying that we need to kill and Jews and former Jews... more like Jewdulph Hitler, amirite?).

And when I remember the name to the game that was released on September 11, 2001 that was a flight simulator like game

EDIT: I finally offended someone. Bwahaha. It took long though >.>

The good, the bad, or the ugly? (yes a reference to a movie).

I agree with the clear cut good guy bad guy WWII defense, and it definitely helps when the US wins outright (note the relative lack of Vietnam games in comparison). It's most likely the fact that the war is still ongoing, but I would have loved to help make a game while I was in, so WTF. Release it and honor those Marines assistance.

...and the word amirite gets more hilarious over time.

Yeah it definitely helps that WW2 was basically Aggressors vs Defenders and easy to differentiate between good/bad & right/wrong. This "War On Terror" or as it has more recently been called "Overseas Contingency Operation" (lol). It (arguably) has no "sides" and hell after the douchebaggery that was Dubya's lies about WMD's if anything the US are the aggressors and the "bad guys".

Much like Vietnam I highly doubt there will be many games glorifying the failures (on all levels) of the self proclaimed "Protector of the Free World" as it's bad for the image.

I really do wish there were more Canadian involvement in the games. Then again, we're a bunch of wimps when it comes to fighting. The only time we were united was in WW1. Sure, we over reacted by banning German Shepards from dog shows...

Also, anybody agree with William Lyon Mackenzie King's perception of Hitler? I can't decide.
