I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants this. I kept thinking where is my "X amount of zombie kills achievement?" in L4D 2.

I seriously missed zombie genocidest in L4D2. That achievement kept me busy on Left 4 Dead 1 for so long, and with prototype currently holding the record for largest zombie kill achievement by 1 over L4D, why didn't Valve 1-up that game for the sequel?

A zombie genocider achievement would be excellent. I would also love to see an achievement for completing (Not winning, just completing from start to finish) a certain amount of scavenge and versus games. Just a total number we could work towards while playing the game. It could also encourage staying in the game regardless of whether you're winning or losing just to gain another game towards the achievement.

I love achievements like this and achievements that encourage team work. (Good sportsman ship achievements?) Like helping a team mate who has been knocked down or using a health kit.

I think an achievement for killing a certain amount of fallen survivors, or getting a certain amount of items from fallen survivors is necessary to promote the new uncommon common infected, and getting a kill count with the machine gun and gold club would make for a refreshing achievement (or achievements.)

And the good sportsmanship achievements mentioned by gabriel would be nice. Perhaps an achievement for going through an entire versus campaign without anyone dying?
