    Doedicurus Taming

Okay, I am not far away from taming my lvl 76 Doedicurus and I have some lessons learned.

    1) It takes a VERY long time.
    2) It prefers Rockarrets
    3) Its kibble is Dilo Eggs
    4) When you go to tranq it shoot it only in the face or tail. Anywhere else is covered by shell and is ineffective.
    5) For a level 76 you will need around 2k Narco Berries. (not kidding)
    6) For a level 76 without kibble, you will be spending over 2.5 hours taming. I started at 9:45 and should be done here soon (12:30-ish).

I don't yet know (since I am not done) how effective it is at getting stone but it better be fucking awesome. It also supposedly turns into a ball and you can roll around. You can also attack enemies that way.

Good luck. If you find a faster way to tame this dino please post!

How the new dino goes into 'protected mode', how you can get it to auto-gather rocks:

    Re: Doedicurus Taming

I had to go to bed right after taming, was mega tired and had to get up in 6 hours for work! I thought it might take awhile but not that long. All I got to do was roll around a bit and hit one rock. I am hoping it means upgrading from wood to stone walls/ceiling/etc will not be as time consuming!
