    I'd recommend a 690 then. Less heat, less power consumption, same specs essentially. Leaves room for other gear.

    Don't recall all of mine, but it's 16 months old and a killer rig for the time. If needed, added RAM with newer graphics card should do it. It runs "ok' for now, but get some frame dragging and stuttering on the odd occasion.


    Before I go the purchase route, and given the "recommended requirement" of a GTX card just below mine:

    What are your recommended graphics settings? There are some in Arma 2 that made a HUGE difference in performance, but very little decrease in game quality. Are there any in Arma 3 that do likewise?
