Thread: Labeled as a Team Killer

Let me preface this post by saying I know and understand the "zero tolerance" intentional team killing rule. I recently joined the Arma 3 community and TPG Wasteland has been my "home" since I started.

Now, let me explain myself: I spawned in at the Stratis AF Base and after running around checking vehicles, and eventually getting in a chopper (turned out the chopper wouldn't fly) a teammate decides he wants to try to kill me and start shooting at me while I'm in the chopper. I get out and after dodging him, I take him out because he just wouldn't stop. He then spawns back in the same area and starts following me again. After several attempts to get him to stop, he wouldn't. He just kept following me. Because of this, and the fact that I wanted to carry on playing without getting shot in the back by a teammate, I took him out a second time.

After that I received a message saying I'm labeled as a team killer and can only join Indie.

My question is, how long will this last? If it's permanent, is it possible to change it so I can be able to select a team?

I know the server rules. I respect them and follow them whenever I play. This team-killing wasn't for the "fun" of team killing or to troll the server. The player I killed attacked me first. I repeatedly attempted to get him to stop verbally over Direct Chat, but he wouldn't.

That said, hopefully I post this in the right area, and hopefully someone can help me out.
