So how is the BETA, I haven't had much time to get one I've been working so much.

Great! More content and optimizations. I think today's patch is a gain of 5+ frames alone based on 1/2 hour of play and general player feedback so far.

new weapons, vehicles, planes, apcs.
edit: new choppers no planes for wasteland yet.. and the new content came in beta not this patch.

Nice hopefully I can find a chance this weekend to jump on and play a couple of hours. Haven't been giving the game enough attention lately. Its one of those games I want to have a couple of hours set aside for and just haven't had the time. On the plus side if I do get a chance to get on, I finally have a pair of 7.1 headphones to play with.

I have to say that the game seems to play more smooth now and things move faster. Unfortunately this means that interactions and shootouts occur faster as well, and it makes it into a more cat-like nerve situation. I'm going to have to up the sneaky factor in order to not spend all my time looking for near gear after my last death.

Unless my squad is right there to clear out the person(s) that took me out, I usually don't try for my body. It is generally scavenged or camped by the time I get back. Although I am guilty myself sometimes. I tend to not loot a vehicle right off spawn. I hop in drive it away into a safe area before sorting through the gear. I don't know how many people I have taken out with their back to me while they are digging in a quad or truck.

I definitely agree though, the game is much smoother and better FPS. Makes for a more streamlined gunfight.
