The future of Wasteland
Hi everyone,
I have good and bad news.
The bad news is that I will stop actively developing the TPG edition of 404 Wasteland.
The good news is that with the impending release of the game, I am now merging with GoT Wasteland and KoS Wasteland to form what will be now known as Team Wasteland. The goal of this merge is to combine the ideas and talent of all Wasteland developers in one common project that everyone will benefit from, and that can be customized to anyone's liking.
So far, the team consists of myself, JoSchaap from GoT, His_Shadow and Bewilderbeest from KoS, and MercifulFate, who helped JoSchaap a lot with GoT Wasteland. Deadbeat from 404Games, who participated in the development of 404 Wasteland, might also join us.
Our main project is to adapt Wasteland to Altis, and along the way combine most of the stuff that makes all the different Wasteland flavors awesome.
We have been discussing and planning together since a week now. Altis has just been released to the Dev branch as I am writing this, so we are going to start working on it right away.

Also, JoSchaap went to Gamescom last weekend, and was able to test Altis and grab some pics of new vehicles:

Oh Yeah!!!!
Thanks so much for what you've done.
Question: If the full release drives needed changes to tpg wasteland stratis, can you make those? Or do you anticipate team wasteland will have a working version of Altis by then?Last edited by dreaddman; 08-26-13 at 11:07 AM.
