Breaking Point
Some of the guys have rediscovered this mod and WOW. It runs incredibly smooth on Altis; the zombies are actually a threat and are commonly confused with players; it's got a great variety of weapons; and it gets the heart pumping! I didn't realize how much I missed Krom calling out "Player!"
Yes, it is on Altis. At first I thought it would be too big for 20-50 players, but I was wrong. We weren't without contact longer than 30 minutes on a 20ish man server. The map is big, but it gets real small real quick. The size of it brings a level of strategic thought that just isn't present in Wasteland.
So, give it a chance, I think the old DayZ(ero) crowd will be really impressed.

Re: Breaking Point
Absolutely concur. Although i did not see any action as i spawned in a rather remote area, i was still able to hook up with two other TPGrs on the way to the main meet up. There was definitely some action there!
Word of caution. If you find a back pack in a loot spawn.... drop your existing pack outside of it, do not switch like you would on a body, you might have access to it but not be able to move any items out of it and into your new pack.

Re: Breaking Point
I probably didn't mention it, but I'm in the BP dev team.

Re: Breaking Point
Do not update your ArmA 3, as it breaks BP and it will no longer work. The Devs for BP are aware and are currently trying to fix it on their end.
If it automatically updated, you can try this (which is what I did).
Do a system restore, and restore it to a previous date (mine was the 19th). Restart your computer and then immediately open Steam and set ArmA 3 to NOT automatically update. Then you can play.
