Thread: Game changing update to Breaking Point

One of the things the BP Devs are working on is adding names and colored tags when you are in a group. This should decrease if not eliminate the who is where or the confusing call out of targets such as "player to my NW". The update is still in testing but sounds like it should be released soon. Here is a pic pulled from the office BP website.

My mouth dropped and drool came out when I saw this. I want this now! I cant wait for whatever is next. These guys keep amazing me.

Big update just released. No patch notes as of yet but likely the group system update mentioned above has been released. Still downloading at the time of this post so I will have to wait and see...

I think that i have couple of hours to go.
For some reason it only displays two servers to download from and the dl speed is only 600kbps,there goes my fiber 50/50.

Grouping is back on again, and the campfires have been fixed. It also appears that some US server characters have been merged with the CA characters.

Apparently the desynch issues relate to the last ARMA 3 change. Posted somewhere by Deatlhy, iirc.

Yes. The desync is an Arma 3 problem not a Breaking point problem. BI gave us a broken patch and apparently from what nohrt said they knew because it was present on dev build but nobody bothered to fix it. This being said they are working on a hot fix to correct the problem but until then I think I won't be playing. We had 2 guys get destroyed last night without even knowing until they were both suddenly dead seemingly out of nowhere.

Desync has been fixed and group system back in play. The last few nights the game play has been very smooth with the exception of a duck tape incident which we will not discuss :-).
