Thread: Friday Mission Night

We'll be playing some Insurgency Occupation on Friday the 5th starting around 10pm central time. The version used integrates the new virtual armory, so you can try that out. We'll start the mission and run with it for a few hours and see how far we get, so latecomers are welcome to join in progress.

maybe i'll dust off arma i duno

So, the Insurgency Occupation mission is pretty basic. Go in and clear some towns of enemies. Last couple of times we ended up having a theme to spice things up. Last time we went in Splinter Cell style, inserting via HALO over the ocean and swimming in with wetsuits and PDWs. Other suggestions are "Lights Out" where we go in during nighttime with no NVGs, just flares, flashlights and chemlights, or "Press" where one person acts as an annoying news reporter while the rest try to clear the area and protect the press guy.

Come to think of it,I don't recall ever seeing a shotgun in arma3 before. Are there any? If so, I know what my next weapon of choice will be...

Looks like Arma just had an update today. Trying to see if we can get the server updated.

Sorry folks, we're postponing due to rain. And by rain, we mean Arma deciding to update right before the event. We may reschedule for later in the weekend.
