Thread: Arma 3 Overpoch: Downloads/Installation/Connecting

There are 4 additional files required to play Overpoch.
If you do not have a torrent downloading program we recommend utorrent . This will save you a lot of dl time!

After the download you can just move the zip files to the folder and right click and select the "Extract Here" option
Install all files to your Arma 3 root directory, most commonly located at:
32-Bit - C:\Program Files\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\
64-Bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\

After it should look like this **make sure you only have 1 copy of each of these folders**, the exact names of the folders might be different but that is not an issue>>

Then,

In your game library if you right click on Arma 3 and select "Open Launcher" You'll get Arma 3's launcher program where you select the mods you want to run. Just go to the mods tab and add, then activate the needed mods.

You can also do this by enabling the @Epoch, @Mas, @Emod, and @AllInArmaTerrainPack mods in your expansions( Main Menu>Configure>Expansions), and have any other 3rd party mods (not including A3 + dlc's) disabled.

-The newer mappack is required after epoch released new server side files to address the Arma 3 update last week.

If unclear from above details;
You can use either the regular or lite mappacks. 8+gb vs. 2gb respectively. The 2gb will have lower res textures, and should help performance wise on older machines.

I'm only seeing the MAS 1.5 in A3Launcher. Not the 1.6. This make a difference?
