Yeah, the PVP was fun, unfortunately something on the second map crashed me every time I got close to the conflict. Also the radios have a bit of a learning curve that I'm not sure I got over. That and the interaction keys.

Well, your not alone. Im not warming up to this mod at all.

There is some tweaking to make the mod more streamlined. I changed that windows crap to my Home button first thing. There are several videos on youtube on setting up the keys.

Neither am I. It's just not that fun. If I am going to play a round-based game where you spawn in with a full loadout and cap flags, I'll stick with BF4.

There are some cool parts of TBF, but they have made it so overly complicated that it hardly works. The radio system is a prime example. The proximity stuff is cool, but hardly worth alll the bs of trying to get everyone on the same channel.

Love the mod. This is PR. I'm not sure how you would like BF PR and not enjoy this PR. Its the same thing. OK OK mayby some buttons are different. Radio is easy if you look in your squad management it shows what channel everyone is using. Just match your squad. To compare to BF4 is just wrong. Once you play with others more familiar with the mod its easy get excited about the teamwork. I admit it is frustrating in the beginning like many other games but the more you play the more you learn the more fun you experience. The only problem I see is trying to teach an old dog.

radio channels are pretty simple you literally have to press a single button on your numpad to change channels. by far the lest complicated thing about the mod.

changing frequencies on a given chanel is a bit more complicated to learn but again its,2 buttons to bring up the radio, a single click to clear the freqency,type in your desired frequency then click to lock it in.

Ive had shitty matches where only 3 of 30 people are talking and coordinating in a squad, and the other 27 are off solo or in groups of two begin useless and not communicating at all.
and ive had matches where there were 5+ squad leaders coordinating movements, CAS support, armoured transport and security,mortar and artillery fire, all on the long range radio, while directing their squad over the short range radio.

This is ARMA, if you can learn to use the stance change, and scroll wheel systems you can learn to use anything this mod has to offer.
If you are constantly getting stuck on a team whose squad leaders don't know what they are doing,or your squad and random puggies are running off with vehicles and teamkilling, then yes it sucks. if you or other members cant communicate with other groups or players to coordinate a strategy it sucks. having the right community with strong squad leads and people that can communicate is what will make the game.
