A few of us are picking this up again. If you haven'y played it head over to thezombieinfection.com and take a look. The mods been around for almost 2 years and is pretty refined.

i remember it being pretty laggy when i used to play it has performance improved in the last year or 2 ?

performance is great. Runs smoother than any other Arma mod at the moment with maybe the excpetion of exile.

i downloaded the launcher but cant seem to figure out how to download the actual mod

Click on the install button in the launcher. Click on the Steam Workshop button. Click subscribe. It will being downloading ~8gigs. Once that is completed, in the BP launcher, under the install menu, click link steam data. Then verfiy files.

Dusted off the ole' level 2 Nomad last night, only to get in a gun fight with another level 2 that, like a total fucking moron, was wearing a black Balaclava on his face.... the signature head wear of a level one Outlaw. He was unloading on a level 3 ranger in Electro, so i jumped in to help and took a -2500 point hit when i killed the dumbass.

Normally i would have walked away... but i miss this game. I respawned in the same spot (200m west of Electro) and ran back to the city, managed to kill a level one outlaw with an 870 Express before getting beaten by a horde of zeds. Then respawned in Solnichny factory, teamed up with a trader nomad (could have killed him for 500 points but felt bad for the guy as i have been there), and got a sweet hatchet kill on an independent that tried to sneak up on us.

But the highlight of the night was when i met up with Obsidian. I was a freshy again with barely more than an axe. We met at Dolina, and as i was filling a water bottle at the well, Obsidian engages a level one hunter in the red brick. He (Obsidian) exits the red brick to the south as the Hunter fired out the south door, while walking backwards toward the north door. I happened to catch this through the west window, sooooooo, i just scooted around to the north side and let him back right into my Axe. What a thrill! The sudden unexpected eruption of gunfire, the urgency in Obsidians voice as he called out the hunter in the redbrick...........the brutal take down with the games most primitive weapon..... I honestly missed this mod. Even though i have a long trek to get my level 2 status back, im looking forward to it.

US 37. AdmRazor needs to add you to our legion so we are always connected in group when we log on. It saves all the BS of trying to rendezvous at the beginning of every session. I believe he just needs you registered on their forums with, then you will get a message in your inbox. Reply to it and your in.
