Commissioned to create a video scroller
I was asked by the LTDRagequit community to do a video scroller advertising their L4D2 tournament.
It is done, maybe not... not sure.... might add sound.

Saturation might need a bump up too, not sure... the video compression changed my colors a bit.
Comments suggestions? Its my first time creating a text effect video thingy....

Re: Commissioned to create a video scroller
Looks good, I like the textures. I would try to transition the information written, rather than cut to the next text.
For instance, try making a continuous animation of the green texture movements. Then transition the information. Start with what you have; splatter and text, then completely covering the text up with the splatter effect and add new text to that new splatter, repeat.
You could have a cut between "Welcome to, LTDRagequit" and "Now Hosting, L4D2 Spring Tournament".
It may also be nice to start the animation from black and end in black. You could use the splatter effect as the transition. Start the animation by subtracting black splatter effects that cover the entire shot and end it by adding the same effect.

Re: Commissioned to create a video scroller
Yea I was thinking of maybe making splatter cover the whole area after each one, but i got lazy. Working with After Effects is slow and brutal. I would much rather have made it in blender in retrospect.
I also only made 5 different splatter brushes. So I was rotating them and scaling to give each a unique look, if I used them too many times you would tell.
The fading in from black and fading out to black is a good idea, might use that....-- Intentionally Left Blank --
