    Failing at photo shop.

Trying to help a bud at work with a photoshop job. I took a wack at it but only have paint.net. So I have no lighting/shadow effects. That and I cant get the angles right for the siding.

Pretty much I've tried creating a layer underneath the original and bringing a new texture. Then changing the colors.

He wanted to remove all the paint chip spots.

Original. Someone went and messed with the colors on that one wall.

    My attempt

All he needs to do is add a color layer on top of the original picture and mask all the parts he doesn't want painted for the painting part. texture part will take a bit more time cause you will need to skew the texture to match the angles.

Indeed, that certainly taking far too long. Do describe this color layer.
