Hey, I'm a big L4D fan and I'm new to these forums actually and I'm having trouble with L4D2 and connecting via X-Box360.

First off I play the X-Box360 version of the game, secondly I am an Australian, we along with Germany are suffering and are forced to play a censored version (To see how censored feel free to check youtube for MANY comparison videos), Now the censored versions can actually still link up to everyone else around the world and you will see no difference, it's all what is displayed to us, HOWEVER the cop zombie has been removed as well, if you were to play with a censored player it merely would not spawn (Nothing else is affected). I'm not sure if that will help in determining the problem, however it's worth noting.

First off I've tried every mode of play on the game and I cannot link with anyone at all UNLESS I send them an invite to the game or they invite me, however I play a 100% open game, so I can link up with anyone and everyone who queues up, I was afraid I had changed options, however I checked and played my other games and there was no issue with them. Only L4D2. In L4D I can join a group instantly in quick join, no issues there.

I have heard of some players creating certain IP blocks so that when they host a game no one in the countries with the censored versions will join (Most likely due to the removal of the cop) and there are even forums dedicated to this, Needless to say I was a bit angry, but I figured that not even 10% of players could be so horrible in nature that they would have such a thing, let alone even know how to do it. I'm technologically retarded though, so I wouldn't know too much.

I need help, we must all admit that the L4D series is NOT something that can be played alone with the NPC allies (I try to play campaign mode with them, however they seem to be a lot less intelligent since L4D and I have even gone from 100% to death while be strangled to death by a smoker with my entire team standing beside me doing nothing at all, this I'd assume is because of the difficulty of programming intelligent AI though, so yeah, multiplayer and the interaction of it is something that I cannot do without.
