    Generally, not very long, and quite wide?

    It depends how you work. if you like the have large pics or something, then a larger sig. If its more detail, but not so much that it takes 35236 237474264 days to make, then smaller size.

    600X150 is the answer I believe you are looking for. That includes everything in your sig, not just the pic.

    If I'm not mistaken there should be a thread somewhere that gives allowable sig image sizes and avatar sizes.
