Re: photographers
your composition isn't very interesting, and some of your shots are blurry not for artistic effect, but sheer mistake
go to NPDA and get reviewed, or go to an art school's admissions and get your portfolio review, it helps me loads

I'll see if I can find my DevArt sign in and give you some critique.

I have:
Canon SD500
Nikonos V (60mm, 20mm, Ike Light flash)
Exacta Verex IIa (50mm, waist level view finder)
Nikon D80 (Nikor 28-200 f4-5.6, Nikor 50mm f1.8, sb-600)
Im selling quite a bit of gear too.
I also rent glass when I need an effect/look I cant achieve with my current two lenses. I need more. Lots more.
Overall you have a great eye.
Keep it up!! Never give up! Youre only as good as how many pictures you mess up and figure out how you messed them up.

Re: photographers
One quick thing Ive noticed that is consistant in your shots is that your exposure is consistantly hot. It looks to be about a full stop too hot so you may want concider bumping down your exposure when you shoot, a full stop.
Shoot fully manual. Dont let the camera do anything but give you a spot meter on your exposure. Shoot a roll and write down every combination of settings you use, include a discription of the picture that youre hoping to achieve.
Also, get a tripod and frame up a shot. Then change your settings and write them down. Then you can really get a feel for what the camera is doing.
Good luck! :9
