I decided to try a new style of sigs in photoshop and I think this turned out ok:

Modified with some particles.

Killzone: Easier to read.

Any opinions on improvement or is it pretty good as it is? I just made these pretty fast so I am not sure about this new style yet.

Very sharp work. However, on the Killzone one, I have trouble reading the text.

I thought someone might have trouble reading that but that was what I was kind of aiming for. I will put an update one on and see if it looks any better.

Cool stuff! The hardest part for sig making, atleast for me, is working on the text. Composition can really make or kill a piece. Not digging the "Eagle" in the first one, so try something else to make it more a part of the signatures background. Just my .02. Keep it up!

I always will be bad at text, I really have no idea what to do for that one.

Play with transparency, size, font. Sometimes the right font can make or break text. I spend hours on font sites grabbing this and that. Some images look better if the font stands out, others look better if the font looks a part of the image.

If the character in the Eagle sig is a seperate layer, try putting the eagle under the character with faded transparency and have it almost the whole size of the sig.

or something crazy like this.. Just keep playing around until something looks better. Then change it again to try something else for art's sake and I guarantee it'll drive you mad, but that's a good thing!
