CS:S Ban - acidcj

Hi, I'd like to start by saying that I really enjoy playing on TPG servers. On both the CS:S and BF3 servers I've noticed a consistently higher level of communication and skill than on any other server. I do like TPG, and I wouldn't be taking the effort to make this thread otherwise.

Now, onto the required sections:

1. Why was I banned?
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. Earlier in the night I had been slayed for not following the call. (Which was totally my fault, I had alt-tabbed and couldn't hear the in-game audio.) But that was at least an hour before I was banned. Later we were playing on dust2 and did a fake on A, but I didn't make it back to B in time, and was chastised by some of the other players. But that was also well before the ban. I was just kinda standing around with my team, got killed, and then bam - "Disconnect: You have been banned by this server." (Here's a pastebin of my console output for the previous few rounds: http://pastebin.com/8C6WCsS4) I didn't see a warning, no one was saying anything to me, and I'm pretty sure I was following the call and all other TPG rules.

2. What/where/who?
Server: TeamPlayerGaming.com CS:S No AWP/Auto (around 1 AM EDT Jul 9 2012)

3. Why should I be unbanned?
I like playing on TPG servers and try to follow the rules. I'm not the best player (0.76 k/d) but I have more fun than on other servers where I have a better k/d. I've never been too deep into CS:S and don't really understand a lot of the terminology, tactics, or strategies, but I'm doing my best to learn.

Now, I don't know why I was banned, but if the admin who banned me would be kind enough to provide an explanation of why I was banned, I promise that I will not repeat the offending action, or any other actions that violate the TPG rules.

4. Written statement
I will refrain from doing anything that will get me banned again.

Hey Acid! I'm glad to see you on the forum. It's unfortunate that your first post is in the banned section.

You were banned for not following the call. I had given a general warning to the server twice. You were slayed once for not following. Another warning was given saying bans will be issued to anybody not following the call. You were found hanging back and not helping the team after the warning. I was lenient with you because you showed that you were attempting to learn.

I understand that you may not be familiar with some calls. It is important to ask if you need assistance. We are here to help, but must keep the server clear of people with no regard to our rules and style.

I will get your vote started in the admin forum. It will take no longer than three days. Stay tuned.

Thanks for your reply, I guess I was kinda zoning out between rounds and didn't really notice any warnings you were giving. I'll pay more attention if/when I'm unbanned. I'm glad to see your proactive stance with enforcing quality gameplay, and hope that I will be able to join you again in CS:S soon!

By the vote of the CSS admins of TPG, your ban has been lifted, you may join the server when it restarts in the morning. If you have any issues, feel free to PM me.
