Co-Op Mission DISASTER

I couldn't believe it. Of course, I am just starting the co-op missions. So I finish the chopper one with someone that was okay. But then tonight I try the ground pound mission. Incredibly, I have to kill every friggin vehicle that shows up ... feel like I am playing alone ... as you know, the mission is loooong (especially with a partner (not the same guy that did the chopper mission with me) that doesn't know what they are doing).

So, we finally get to the point where we are to be extracted. I follow orders and get to the chopper only to watch my "partner" go rearm and continue fighting. I go back to him to get his blinking attention and let him know he needs to get back to the chopper and the guy just stands there! And wouldn't you know it, I get tagged and start dragging myself back to the chopper ... all the while the guy figures "heck, I'm still shooting at the enemy, what do I care that the orders and the blue thingy are telling me to get back to the blinkin' choppers!" I soon die as I limp to the choppers.

What a waste of time!

The guy then wanted to do the chopper mission again ... so, I figure what the hell ... but once more he doesn't shoot at the big red boxes flashing at him, he doesn't switch to the guided missles, he doesn't shoot the enemy attacking our two squads ... the agony! Needless to say, our chopper, for some reason, decided to slam into the AA when it showed up .........

sorry, it was just frustrating to waste so much time and get nothing out of it! If I could have at least communicated with the person it would have been okay ... but so it goes with BF3 I guess.

Will do Remy! I failed to mention that it took 3-4 times on the ground pound mission before we got as far as the chopper extraction. My "partner" kept getting himself killed.

Yeah jp you gotta hook up with a Mic user for coop... I loved the chopper mission, the last one is frustrating, just remember this: there's 2 quick time events in the round. Get ready to blindly press the keys e space or r lol...
