What are your in game video settings?
I'm curious what people have video settings set to in game. A number of us have been having issues seeing people in game. They blend into the shadows and background substantially more in BF3 than any other game I've personally played.
Here's my settings (I like the game to be pretty):
Graphic: Custom
Texture: Ultra
Shadow: Low (this helps a bit for me with people in the shadows)
Effects: High
Mesh: High
Terrain: High
Terrain Decoration: High
Antialiasing Deferred: Off (this does antialiasing while rendering and is in general superior to post but uses much higher GPU)
Antialiasing Post: High (does antialiasing after the scene is rendered, less GPU but slightly less effective can be combined with Deferred)
Motion Blur: On
Anisotropic Filter: 16X
Ambient Occlusion: HBAO
Resolution: 1680x1050 (native for my monitor)
Brightness: 50%
Vertical Sync: Off
Field of view: 80
Motion blur amount: 50%
Steroscopic 3D: Off
Colorblind support: Off (curious how this would work)
My monitor is set for what would be considered a standard brightness and contrast and color temp for general usage. I don't have it set to overbright or anything else.
If you have "competition" settings different from what you normally play, post those too if you'd like.

I have a 26 in monitor and run 70- 90 on BK2 maps and 80-120 on reg maps. ATI 5870 X's2 crossfire.
I have tried some of the candy but never really saw big change for how much more it brings down the fps.

Re: What are your in game video settings?
I don't have a choice beings I am running on a laptop, but my settings are cranked all the way down for the game itself and monitor is at 600x800. This is the only game I have to run this way, and I HAVE to run it that way cause when I first tryed playing I couldnt even move and would die about 20 steps from where I spawned IF I was lucky enough to even move before dieing then. My field of vision is cut way down because of this, but I do run faster and can play semi-normally.
