It's not necessarily about the action or lack thereof. It's about making rush mode available on TPG's servers without having to purchase another server. Since rush is limited to 32 players, we'd have to offer a second server and right now, that's just not financially justified. Our server has been priming later and later and not staying full nearly as often as right after launch. Some people have already tired of the game. Others have been pouring time into other games. No one is married to this solution. It's an experiment. We'll see how it runs for a week or two and go from there.

I accually like this idea very much, but I do see both sides of it. I was admin on the bf2 servers for awhile and like to think my input still counts. I see where having the smaller maps and different modes mixed in is a very good balance for cost/demand for BF3, and if the server turns out where it is always busy and there is more demand then rising from that as a community then I could see(for the TTP) THEN looking into getting another server,....Bussiness wise sense. So yea everyone hopefully sounds off here on there thoughts and make everything painless for everyone. I remember priming all the time on BF2 and I haven't done it on BF3 at all yet and always thought it was a pain, although it did give me a chance to learn to fly and stuff. But then it let you fly and not count as a death if there wasn't enough people in game.

I've enjoyed it, and I'm one the people who help prime. Before it was huge hassle because you never saw any action, and you just flag jumped till the rounds ended. Rush has been a ton of fun, and smaller maps make for a whole lot more action without a whole lot of running around. I'm sure with some fine tuning this will make for a great add-on for the server.

Great idea. I have noticed the server is dieing earlier than when it first came out and was thinking that there should be something out there to help bring people in and keep some in later.
Can the armor be turned off on the rush maps?

The plugin has no way of knowing who is in the queue. I've set the threshold lower to 24, so that after the round ends, if there's at least 24 people, it will switch to large maps. That allows for people to drop off after the round is over and still have the change occur. That should hopefully do the trick.
