If you removed the modern day uniforms and aircraft and replaced them with updated 2142 looking uniforms and Titans you'ld have 2143. They even have the pew-pew-pew futuristic bullets already in the game now, they don't make that sound of course but they could pass for Star Wars guns easy with the bullets being huge balls of light and all. Yes i know 2142 didn't have laser guns, but 2143 could.

Seriously though, it's like the whole squad gameplay mechanic (the meat of the game) was copy/pasted from 2142. I wonder if this really was going to be 2143.

well - sure ok Bf3 has 4, and 2142 has 4, but BC1/2 has 4 as well. So that's not really a good comparison between BF3 and BF2142. Never mind the fact that BF2142 Recon class was actually really effective without being the overpowered juggernaut that was BC2's recon class. Contrasted against the de-balled shrub wookie that BF3 gave us and it's a worse comparison still
