Punkbuster Issue

after trying to manually update Punkbusters I had the bright idea to hit the news link in battlelog. First story confirms that there is an issue with connecting and having punkbusters kicking you out. says for the time being find a server without PB, lol.

ok this is ridiculous. it is still not working any body have any ideas. ive tried the manual update and even shut it down through task manager.

so I tried something drastic and deleted the BF3 file in the punkbuster folder, seems to work so far.

Spike - just to let you know - there are punkbuster "issues" going on currently (for the last 2 days or so) and there was a PB update on the 23rd. As I can see that you've already updated the service manually, I suspect that you're just having some of the random disconnects that others have been having (EAUK forum also sees quite a few threads about this over the last few days).

So....until Even Balance, and GGC, and PBBans, and DICE and EA get it all straightened out and stable these issues might persist.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but this is, unfortunately, the case at the moment as far as I can tell.
