BF3 Server Browser issue possibly explained
150 Server Limit killing thousands of servers. - Electronic Arts UK Community
Sigh - nailed........
nvm can't even muster the energy to finish the meme
Our server went from being populated 24/7 to dead after a Gameservers.com reinstall to fix the crashing it BF3. I have been ticketing them and they finally told me what the problem is for me and thousands of other server owners.
"For the Battlelog issue, the max amount of server listings at one time is 150. This is the limit the developers placed on the browser server list and it can't be changed at this time. Due to that most clients will be applying filters it may benefit or hurt the chance of the server from being displayed depending on the active server settings."
Yes, Battlelog only displays 150 servers at a time. Not on the 150 list? Your server will rot.

I figured that. also If you do a Search with Filters it brings up a list of about 25 servers. Sort by player population and theres a total of like 5 full servers. Scroll down, wait for the page to load an viola! More pop's servers OMG WTF!!?!?!?

And we knew that their search algorithms were dog shit, but now we also know that not only does their search not work but you're only searching through a fraction of the total servers to boot.
