I want to finally fire up my joystick so I can get some jet kills
do you still have to run through the 'unmap everything and remap it' to get the thing to work (not constantly firing when NOT in a jet)

    Realmware BF3 Tools

Use the BF3 settings editor for this.

Ok, so that works... but is there a way to have the joystick inverted for jets, but not for helicopters?

I didn't have any luck. I have to invert for the joystick to work correctly, but in doing so, it affected my mouse while in the chopper. Guess im going to do one or the other in any given round.

I cleared my joystick axis for soldier and ground vehicles (and maybe 1 other?). Works like a charm

woah woah woah, mines normal for jets but inverted for helicopters (I DO NOT WANT THIS! I do not want Helicopters to be inverted). I'm assuming you were able to get both to act the same? D: How?

I did the same as you and chapel. I clicked on inverted flight (only one box that i saw), and the stick works fine. Pull back to go up, push forward to dive.... but it inverted my mouse for helicopter flight. Pushing forward on the mouse goes up, and moving back goes down.. i cant fly like that!

does this work though is it better than mouse and keyboard. i ask because i just need to know for real. is it a preference thing or is there an actual edge over the opponent that does not have a joystick
