Thread: Getting into maps you don't have?

As most of you know, I don't have Back to Karkand, yet this happened today:

I don't know if this is a bug in the system or what. I still can't join when the server is currently on a Back to Karkand map, and the Assignments are still locked to me, so I simply don't have Back to Karkand. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I'll see if I get kicked next time when the server switches from a stock map to a Karkand map.

I hope that is working as intended. Keeps the server from depopulating for running maps, yet encourages you to buy the DLC

Not exactly. Every time it goes from a regular map to a Karkand map, it simply disconnects me from the server and Battlelog says "You are missing content from the game." This time around, it actually showed the loading screen for Strike at Karkand, and loaded me into the game.

I was just on the server, and when it went from Seine Crossing to Wake Island, it disconnected me as usual.

Bob had this before he got the b2k kit setup, he had a round of karkand for a taster we said...
