I'll find the link to the video when I get home, I actually cant think of the name of the software off the top of my head, I just searched youtube for "compress fraps video"....its one that is 26 seconds long.

When I record with fraps it makes a bunch of files each a few minutes long and each 4 gigs. I compress those first individually. After that I combine all the videos in pinacle studio 14 to make one long video.

And don't worry I'm a newb at this too.

There are two things worth pointing out though.

1) The recording length is now adjustable, which is what the loop buffer setting is for. It is not limited to only 30 seconds.

2) Your FPS does not lock at 30 (unless you set FRAPS to record at 30, maybe). I record at 60 and it locks there, no matter what recording mode I'm running in (default or loop buffer).

I have a really cool comeback video I'm going to upload late tonight, I'm fairly new to bf3 but it's the best comeback Ive ever been apart of, towards the end it was like 65 - 20, then 12 - 2, then finally 1 - 1.

Okay this is the way I did it.

1. Click "settings" in the top right corner.

2. Then go to "plugins".

3. Then in the left hand corner, check the box for "TeamSpeak 3 Overlay Plugin"

The next steps I don't think are required to get it to work, I just do them because I saw it on a tutorial awhile back.

4. Then Click the settings tab at the bottom, now you should see this. Find the BF3.EXE profile.

5. Set "Retry Injection After" to 1, then hit apply.

Then it should work, if it doesn't just try restating your computer and repeating the steps. Also when you enable the plugin you will get a warning that the plugin might cause some games to think your cheating, use at your own risk. I've used it since bf3 came out and haven't had any problems.
