That'd work better off the TPG server as most of the tank gunners round here watch the tanks 6 24/7.

I wish it was like BF2. 3 rockets would kill any vehicle. Kill It!

2142 had some areas where a skilled engineer could one shot tanks or APCs but it took a lot of practice to get good at it. Made it much harder for a tanker to roll into tight spaces and still own. But it also meant that there was a very good balance between roles and kits and vehicles.

It was the same in BF2. If you hit just below the turret, it would bounce of the body and uppercut the turret and in effect hit the tank twice. My point was that vehicles were much more vulnerable than in BF3.

This is an area where they didn't skimp on the realism in BF3. Were talking a RPG-7 vs Abrams.... of course its going to take several of them, and they need to be accurately placed too! There are stories of floating around out there of Abrams' taking upwards of 10 RPG rounds with only superficial damage. Now upgrade the Ruskis to a RPG-29 Vampir and you have a different story, 2 shot kills would be the norm.
