Thread: Getting annoyed with no VOIP ><

You're on Caspian at B (64p) at the toll booth. You shoot at an enemy running from the Semi-truck to the Concrete building. Two teammates step into crossfire. That maxes out your TK's. An AI Humvee pulls up behind you and grabs your character. Cut-scene. Court-martial.

I rarely get a chance to play this game with a mic because my 2 year old sleeps lightly, but I got to play a couple of rounds last night.

I have to say, I'm not at all surprised BF3 omitted VOIP.

My side was practically dead...silent. I did my best to communicate enemy positions the first round, but it makes it difficult to continue without verbal acknowledgement from your team. Stayed for one more round and did my best to stay quite like the rest of my team.

Sad really... felt like any other pub.


...and yes there were 8 players on my side on TS, some of them regs.


Wait... I do recall a brief 5 minutes of the game I joined on, a mrknuckless was communicating! Not sure what happened to him after that round, not even sure if he's a reg, but he made those first 5 minutes on the server enjoyable.

True, very few Pubbers who actually take the extra step to connect to TS, speak about anything. Or even listen. I had a Squad mate on TS, not respond to Anything whatso ever. ::CRAZYFACE::
