I must have the broken stinger then. Doesnt drive them away, hardly ever hits, and i have NEVER gotten a disable on a hit post patch. Dont have a single kill with a stinger since the patch, and not for lack of trying. But then again the only time i feel its necessary for me to get out the stinger is when my squad (or others in the area) are being harassed by a highly skilled chopper team. Ive been in squads where we all had stingers and were all killed before we even got tone, or shortly thereafter without making the kill.... repeatedly. Average joe pilot and gunner, sure you have a chance. Pilot and gunner with some skill, forget it. Better off waiting for Blood_thirst to spawn with an RPG or Brass with the tank.
