Re: CQC...Who's buying and who's not
I would get the DLC in a heartbeat, but only if TPG plays the maps.... I am entirely unlikely to switch to another server since I've played here for so long and like the folks who play here
I do think that EA is missing the point when it comes to voip -- my feelings echo many of the sentiments already posted. I like teamplay because I like being a part of something bigger than just myself. I get a feeling of satisfaction and joy when I am in a good squad and we are having success..... hell, I even feel pretty good when I am in a good squad and we are getting our asses handed to us. I do not get that feeling when I feel isolated and alone and am just running and gunning with no teamplay.
I think it'd make good business sense for EA to include that feature. I hypothesize that in game voip would lead to more teamplay and thereby more joy and satisfaction on the part of gamers. Happy gamers lead to more sales. More sales lead to happy shareholders.

The plus side is though, if you look at the TS you will find dozens of people who aren't or weren't part of TPG at BF3's beginning. So it is drawing people in. As for any of the DLC I'm still undecided but I will probably get the premium.

yah i agree in fact the only thing we have to complain about is what amador said. the lack of reserve slots is highly disappointing. if you want to complain about anything to do with how EA DICE is doing business you should be complaining about that (and my own personal opinion here but the net code and hit reg needs an overhaul to but not as important).
