this is not funny. That place used to be a decent forum populated with great debaters who still try and respect the opinions of their interlocutors as long as they provided some decent arguments. I may be mistaken, as I never paid much attention, but didn't the DICE devs refer to that group as Mordor first? And I would venture to guess that Mordor declined as the more credible users realized DICE wouldn't fix BF3.

I, personally, think that was the progression of events. Needless to say though - it was a place where some of the most detailed posts, arguments and proposed solutions were handed to devs for naught for years. I think it burned a lot of the heavy posters over there out (who in many cases were clan/community leaders all around the globe with servers of their own).

But towards the end yeah - it was a lot of rage and meme and shit posting. But quite possibly some of the funniest posts as well. Merciless towards dishonesty too I recall. \o/
