Thread: Contesting a ban

i was banned last night for IT TK 2 people at the end of a match. now i do know that IT TK is against the rules. but i felt an exception was needed for the 2 that i shot. before i go further i want to let everyone know that i dont go around randomly TK people on purpose. there are people that i play with on this sever that can vouch for me that i am a team player and dont do things of this nature. anyways back to the TK ban. these two guys have been camping on the russian base on the rock that over looks their spawn. if you play enough you know where im talking about. they have been sniping people as they spawn into the jets for easy kills. thats pretty lame. normally i dont care what others have been doing, but that game we got out tails handed to us. lost all bases and down by more than 400 tickets at one point. so with about 50 tickets remaining i make a last ditch effort and fly the venom heli over to G and F. get shot down by their AA gun. land over by F and notice these 2 guys just sitting there sniping away not helping out team out at all. well one of them must have been a mod cause i got banned shortly there after. i get in TS when the game was over and i asked why i was booted. i was told i was banned for TK. i told him why i shot him and he said that wasnt against the rules but TK was. well now that i come here and read the rules it does look like that mod was in the wrong. i wasnt right by what i did but i think it was justifed. i didnt shoot them anymore than that 1 time. so there ya go. thats my rant.

Being that this isn't the BANNED forum, you'll actually prob get several replies. I was actually on last night in fact even on the same team I believe at some point.

1) You will now need to direct yourself to the BANNED forum, read up on the rules, and create a post.
2) ITK for whatever reason will get you in the brig...who gives a shit what the others are doing, if someone is camping, you disagree with it and you feel it's costing the team a win, then use the CHAT to summon an admin. I'm not sure who the admins are for BF3 as I've been out on sabbatical for over a year and just now coming back. We have lot's of hotheads that tend to think they can resolve issues with a TK and get away with it. Don't be a hothead and try to get a away with it
