    Okay I've been away from BF3 for awhile and I'm thinking about getting back in.. only thing I'm wondering is should I be concerned about the weapons I can't get because of the add ons I don't have will be a disadvantage and is the non add on server still populated

    Eh some of the unlock rifles are good, but you can still use the vanilla ones and roll.
