    meh i like snipers, i snipe occasinonly, im alright at it, i play a Special Ops kit alot more though (lambert, RDX, active Camo) but i like snipers on Defense of something. Hell give me one or two more competent snipers, and we'll hold that silo, flag, ect till the cows come home. Honestly, how many of you Medics, shotgunner are going to pop your heads up if you know that theres 2-3 hidden snipers out there waiting for another Infiltrator pin? But since I have Active Camo im a ninja......until someone see's me.....then that hurts but if you have more than one sniper per squad all the time, then switch your kit already.

    I remember this thread a long ass time ago. Bigdog and I had a heated discussion about it each reply lasting about 2 pages each. Everything your saying right now has been said, just go back to previous pages and READ because it's all there.

    As a sniper I can help the squad take and keep a flag or silo. If you know how to use the kit it is a definite asset.

    I am all for the RDX and APM (camo is meh. I focus more on the boom!) I typically play spec-opps as well but I really dislike the sniper system in this game. BF2 I was always sniper > support > medic > at. I do like that I can have C4 and claymore (equivalents) in 2142 but how is it in the future no sniper has been taught breath control?

    In the future, everyone will rely on gadets for everything. That's why we have the scope stabilizer. Frustrating as hell having to waste a slot on it if you want it when in other games you can merely hold your breath.

    Because we like the thrill of being sneaky bastards who kill with a single well placed blow. It just doesn't work out so well in this game, that's all.
