lol worse, this one was a collum shift (and not a very good one). But on the plus side, I discovered various routes through Boston durring rush hour that I still use to this day which are far faster than the 'freeway' (oxymoron)

This was meant to be a light joke anyway.

Frankly, I wouldn't care about a working AC if it didn't mean that it would affect the other parts of the car that you don't want broken (which probably doesn't happen).

You know, I drove my last car around a bit with a broken O2 sensor and computer box. Trust me, it's not a lot of fun.

And then there was the '69 Dodge that my grandfather used to own. If you could drive that thing, you could drive any stick shift car out there (with a floor shifter anyway).

psst, AC is a convienience option. you're vehicle will run fine with or without it, (though if you engine is over heating, DO NOT use AC, use heat instead

My favorite was when my grandma turned the heater on full blast in midsummer in Boise (cold at that point is usually 95) and it had been sitting out in the sun for 2 hours while we watched a movie. She thought that the AC was just warming up so she refused to roll down the window. We got the fun of 110-120 degrees (minimum) for 5 minutes. We love grandma.
