Re: Map Vote on PR Server
Attention attention...
If you DO feel like you're getting spammed with vote messages, there is a button in the Options menu of BFHQ, before you join the game. Under Controls, you can click the button that will remove you from votes.
It turns off votes for you. You can vote, don't see the announcements. It basically just leaves you in peace and lets you play.-- Yahoo

Re: Map Vote on PR Server
I never knew about that option. I clicked on it last night before logging into the TTP PR server and the only thing I saw on my screen was the results of votes and not the votes themselves. Every single vote that did occur last night while I was on failed by the way.
The previous night I kept track of all who voted and wrote down their score at the time. About 80% of those who voted mid-round were people who had apparently just entered the server because their scores were zero or very low. So basically they were people with no stake whatsoever in the current battle going on and were spamming those who did care about the battle.
I still think the map vote option should be turned off but now that I can't even see them, I care not.
See you guys on the battlefield!

Re: Map Vote on PR Server
We have map votes to please the masses. TTP i know would have a vote for the next map if we could do so on bf2 but we cant. There has been many times where the members here have been on and its like 6 of us on a huge map and we changed it. I dont think we will remove the mapvote...EVER
