Thread: Legion of Merit ribbon

Heres a question to all of the stone cold killas out there that got their Legion of Merit ribbon for 10 best kill streak. What is the exact criteria for this? I'm not clear on this.

Tonight I got 47 kills on Leipzig, a silver star and 3 or 4 combat efficiency pins, defending Main Square and Fuel Depot. The 2nd highest # of kills from either team was 42 or 43 kills. The enemy commander got the gold with a high score of 66 (2x pts for winning) and I got silver with 63 pts.

I checked BFHQ and I'm still at 6 of 10. Don't know what I did exactly to get those 6 best kill streaks, but this is the 2nd time this week I got the most kills and it's still not counting. Because I got the most kills, wouldn't that be counted as a best kill streak. Are the total points part of the equation or is it who gets the most combat efficiency pins?

"best kill streak" means you have the most kills in a single spawn. having the most kills doesn't guarantee you have the best kill streak.

Well that explains it then, so theoretically, someone can have a lower number of kills but if they kill a whole grip of guys before they die, they get the best kill streak. I thought it was for the entire round. I guess I'm gonna have to stay alive a little longer. Damn rocket spammers!!

2) pair up with a good medic
3) titan guns

Yeah, "best kill streak" can be a pain, but being commander and having some luck with artillery (and not dying), or in a gunship or vehicle is the best way.

Hell, I've gotten one or two just on the ground, though. They line up and rush at me while I gun them down.
