TS free for all or squad chat?

I am 90% certain that it separates at 9. Prove me wrong but that's been my experience. I think 10 is a better number because a squad of 8 was never a problem in the old days why should it be now. Not only that I think its good for the one guy to have an idea of whats going on so he isn't in the dark and without support in game and in extension sometimes of little use to their team. Trust me I am speaking from experience when I say that it is the worst/most frustrating thing to happen when you are first joining into a game in progress or if you are losing.

It splits when it hits 8 people. It also doesn't put you in a squad channel if your squad has fewer than 2 people in TS.

I like team, except it gets too noisy around 10-12 players.

I voted for Squad. It is hard to tell who is talking to who when there are more than 5/6 players.

The only issue I had ws it doesn't play well with Fraps, which has it's own overlay. The warning that you might get banned doesn't apply to BF3. Been using it for several months now on a number of servers.

I like it the way it is.

If you're an odd man out, it's nice for someone in a four man TS squad to move over. I've done it on occasion.

I think there's also a whisper feature that lets you talk to the entire team. Is that still working?

10 players is too many to be in the channel together, especially split between 3+ squads.. If people in TS are scattered between multiple squads THAT'S THEIR OWN FAULT. Either convince your squad mates to join TS, or consolidate into squads that only contain TS players.
