TS free for all or squad chat?

I'm just interested in what others think.

Do you enjoy team speak with everyone on the team in one channel or having it broke down by squad?

I prefer squad when we have over 10 people in TS. Team chat gets to chaotic in trying to give out orders at that point.

Since it is rare that we have full teams in TS, this might be okay. However, the issue of not following your SL if they aren't in TS becomes a problem if you are following "team lead" through TS.

I think we need to change the limit of people that it takes to change to squad chat. I find that many times when I join there are already 8 people in TS and then all of the sudden as number 9 you are left as the odd man out. I think separation should come when you hit 10 people. It would be better that way because we could get rid of the odd man out situation with the odd man having a buddy after the separation to join their squad.

But I do see the odd man out case popup more then I see a full server.

I like squad chat. The 3 other guys in my squad I can usually tell who they are by their voice. When there is 10 people, you have to really think hard about who is talking.

Personally, I hated whenever I played and there were more than 2 squads worth of people. Too many people talking over each other. Too many "Look out behind you" messages that weren't clear who they were directed at...

Yah that's true 9 times out of 10. I think my idea is probably the best compromise to be honest. It gives a little room and doesn't leave any on their own.

The setting currently does not change over to squad based chat until there are 8 members from your team in TS. Less than 8 people, and you're in team chat.
